We invite you to send your person or groups message to our troops. We've produced such a video for the last 2 years. Once all the footage-still photographs are collected, all gets professionally edited at HBO Studios, with the final version and copies of the thousands of written messages, sent out to ALL Military bases, USO Units, Veterans Hospitals and Armed Forces TV (whereby ships at see can see it). Send a message of support to our troops!

Thank You For Serving (TYFS) is a video that sends messages of support from “the folks back home” to our men and women in uniform. TYFS is distributed to military installations, ships and hospitals around the world. It is a non-political, non-profit project whose sole mission is to boost the morale of our servicemen and -women.

We invite groups from around the country to submit a video clip or photo for the next edition of the video:

Video

· Gather your group together in a well-lit location
· Have a representative from your group record your message, or say your message in unison. Messages should be brief (so we can include as many messages as possible!)

EXAMPLE: “Thank You For Serving! We love you ! Come home soon!”

· Brief individual messages may also be included
· Messages must be non-political, and non-season specific (no “Happy Holidays”, etc.).
· Preferred format: mini-DV (DV camcorder) or DV-NTSC format files burned to CD or DVD disc. (Other formats also accepted)
· Send your videos to:

Photograph

· Create a sign or banner that says “Thank You For Serving.”
It should be large enough to be readable from 30 feet away
· Gather your group around the sign and take your photograph
· Digitize (scan) your photographs (not necessary for digital cameras). Photos should be at least 1200 x 900 pixels.
· E-mail your photographs to: patuwvc@aol.com
